  • Job Details
  • Role: CT Scan Technologist (Inpatient)
  • Responsible for assisting the radiologist in diagnostic CT scan procedures, and ensuring patient care
  • Produces diagnostic CT scans, under the supervision of the CT Supervisor
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care based on physical, motor/sensory, psychosocial, and safety appropriate to the age of the patient served
  • Responsible for coordination of the daily workflow and assist in the throughput of ER, in-patients and outpatients
  • Responsible for appropriate QC monitoring, mandatory in-services, etc.
  • Has the authority to make technical decisions for the best possible CT scans, and administer IV contrast materials under the direction of the radiologist
  • Proficient in the use of in-house CT scanning and contrast injecting equipment
  • Challenged to operate a variety of sophisticated CT imaging units and image storage systems
  • Provide optimal patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and exam evaluation of neonatal, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and families.

    • American Registry of Radiological Technologists ARRT(R) upon hire
    • AART (CT) Registry must be acquired within 12 months upon hire
    • State of Nevada license for Medical Radiography
    • AHA BLS within 60 days upon hire
    • Minimum two year clinical experience in the respective departmental required
      • Schedule Information
      • Shift: Monday-Thursday day shift, most likely 10a-8:30p or 8a-6:30p
      • No call requirements specified
      • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40
      • Call Requirements: To Be Discussed During Interview

        • Travelers may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level
        • May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during schedule period
        • Renown has the right to call off, without penalty, 48 hours, for low census per 13-week contract. This may be full or partial shifts
