Job Description:
A company is looking for a Claims Specialist to join their team
on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities
Process a minimum of 1000 claims per week for various benefit
types, primarily Perks and Health FSAs
Review and validate submitted claims against eligibility criteria
and plan rules for multiple clients
Stay updated on changes in benefit regulations and internal
processes
Qualifications
1+ year of experience in benefits claims processing, preferably
with exposure to multiple benefit types
Proven ability to process a high volume of claims (1000+ per week)
with accuracy
Familiarity with pre-tax and post-tax benefit rules
Experience with additional benefit types such as HSAs, Dependent
Care FSAs, Commuter benefits, or HRAs is preferred
Knowledge of IRS regulations related to employee benefits (e.g.,
IRS Pub 502) is a plus
