  • Accountable for the assessment, coordination delivery and evaluation of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care in an acute patient setting.
  • Delivers holistic and individualized care to all patients in an assigned area.
  • Develops, implements, and coordinates a plan of care that incorporates psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and life-style factors.
  • Fosters and maintains collaborative relationships between patients, their family/support group, physicians, and other healthcare providers through timely and effective communications.
  • Adheres to hospital polices, industry standards, best practices, and applicable laws and regulations to promote an optimal patient experience.

    • CA RN Licensure
    • BLS
    • ACLS
    • PALS (within 180 days of hire)
    • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Corp Course within 180 Days of hire)
    • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale within 90 days)
      • Schedule Information
      • Shift: 3 x 12 Days 0645-1915
      • Weekend Requirement: Every other Sat/Sunday; Holiday as needed

        • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support: AHA or ARC only.
        • BLS - Basic Life Support: AHA or ARC only, not required for 100% remote employees.
        • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support: AHA or ARC only.
        • NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure: AHA/AAP only. Must be Instructor or Advanced Provider Course.
        • CCRN - Critical Care RN.
        • TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course: TNCC is valid for 4 years.
        • EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring: AWHONN certification is valid for 2 years from completion date.
        • Tech Cert Verification - National: Required within 30 days of start.
        • State License 1 Verification: Primary source online verification required within 30 days of start.
        • NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP).
